Don Was is a six-time Grammy-winning musician, bassist, and highly prolific record producer, known for his ability to work with a vast range of superstar artists…successfully. He has produced albums for acts including The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Willie Nelson, winning Album of the Year and Producer of the Year in 1994. Beyond production, Was is the current president of Blue Note Records and has earned an Emmy, a BAFTA, and a Golden Gate Award for his work as a music director, film composer, and documentary filmmaker.
